Kara DioGuardi - the 4th judge..
This year, there will be a change to the line up of the judges of American Idol. No, don’t panic, your favorite judge will still be there (whether it’s Paula, Randy or Simon)!
However, there will be a fourth person added to the panel, to provide comments, suggestions and feedback to the hopeful auditionees. Kara DioGuardi will be joining the usual judges as of the 2009 season.
Kara has some judging experience from MTV show ‘The One’, but you are mostly likely to have heard her work unknowingly - she is a prolific song-writer who has penned hits for former Idol winners Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, as well as Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion and Faith Hill amongst others.
One of her most famous songs is the Kylie Minogue hit record “Spinning Around”, which was a number one single in the UK and many other countries. The song was co-written by her fellow AI judge Paula Abdul. Other songs Kara Dioguardi has written include:
Rich Girl - Gwen Stefani (featuring Eve)
Ain’t No Other Man - Christina Aguilera
Pieces of Me - Ashlee Simpson
Fly - Hilary Duff

Maybe Kara will write the song for the winner of American Idol 2009? Does anybody know…

I had a question about someone I know that was suppose to be on TV.
His name was ” Anthony Ziliox ” from pleasantville, new york.
I saw him introduce himself but he never sang anything.
Can you tell me if he will and its just too little time to fit everyone in that 2 hours.
This was from the Channel 5 at 8pm-10PM special last night.
