This Thursday the auditions took place at Houston, Texas. Accompanied with a space theme scenery, I truly believe this audition episode was the best in this season. Last night’s auditions were definitely emotional and to tell you the truth, my eyes got wet for a moment when I heard a story of Ramiro Garcia. Just for a short moment, but it totally counts. In total there were 55 golden tickets handed out and let’s recap some of the most notable moments of last night’s episode.
Ramiro Garcia, 28. Even though he was the last contestant, I would like to start off with this guy. He was born with no ears and when he was 4, doctors said he wouldn’t be able to hear, let alone sing. After countless surgeries he is now able to hear AND sing. Ramiro definitely impressed the judges and won the Golden ticket to the next round. I encourage everyone to watch his audition video!
Baylie Brown, 21. We seen her earlier in 6th Season when she was 16, but she was eliminated in the Hollywood round. This time she sang Bon Jovi’s “Bed of Roses” and judges gave her another shot!
Skylar Laine, 17, from Mississippi. Deer hunting is her hobby! Quite a strange hobby for 17-year-old girl, right? I guess Mississippi is just so different from all the other states. Her family owns a small restaurant business for over 70 years, lately the business isn’t going that well though. If she finds success in the music industry, she is going to help out her mom and dad to bring life back to their family business, she said. Well, judging from her auditions and her amazing voice, she might make it. She was approved by judges and made it to the next round?
