New month has started with a new episode! This week American Idol’s audition episode took place in Portland, Oregon. I keep hearing more and more negative reviews and feedback from true American Idol fans about 11th season and I partially agree with them. American Idol is a legendary TV show and it should be a role model for all other similar shows, but this season comparing to others does slightly disappoint me. There still were a couple of contestants who had “the talent” and could make into the big scene. Anyways, here are some of Wednesday’s episode highlights and contestants worth mentioning about.

Britnee Kellogg, 27. Single mom who wanted to persuade a career of a singer for a long time. Unfortunately, her ex-husband kept her off the track. When he went into “exploring” a career of a professional basketball player, he also explored other women. Oops! That’s when Britnee decided it’s time for her to persuade her own dreams and she made a right choice. She sang “You’re No Good” and impressed all 3 of the judges. Welcome to the Hollywood round!
Brittany Zika, 21. This girl definitely has the potential to become the next “Idol”. She proved that all dreams come true, you just have to do a little leg work to make them happen. Judges weren’t really impressed by her hipster moves, but they agreed that she has beautiful vocals and she received the Golden ticket to the Hollywood. Here’s a video of her performance:
Jessica Phillips, 25. Another drama story. Her boyfriend experienced a stroke right before her eyes. Went into coma and went out with disabilities. She’s now the only caretaker. She sang Faith Evan’s “Angel” and it was amazing. Congratulations on making it to the Hollywood round girl, you deserve it!
